During a pathology lecture, a particularly gruesome picture of a chronic suppurative abscess with necrosis at the ankle joint is flashed overhead.
Biomed students: "EEEWWWWWWWW!!!!!!"

The lecturer: "You see this thickened roll of epithelium here? What you need to do is scrape at it to freshen the edges so as to promote healing."
Biomed students: "AAAAAAAAAHHHHH!!"
Us: How would you do that on a horse? Local?
Picture of massive growth of proud flesh
Lecturer: "So what you do is, you just take a sharp butcher knife and just whack the whole thing of. It's got no nerves, see."
Biomed students - whimpering.
Us: Man, I'm hungry. When's lunch?
